This retreat will be ALL day.. don’t worry though, you will feel well rested & energized after a day with us. Come join us at the beautiful Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre in rural Oakville.

Everything is optional, if you’d rather sip on a mimosa while watching us do bootcamp – no problem. Be as active as you want!

8:30-9 Arrival & Quick Fuel (Oatmeal  & Smoothie) 

9:00-9:45 Beginner Yoga Workshop: 

We will be dissecting some of the more commonly used basic postures that will in turn allow you to progress to a more advanced practice. Learn about breathing techniques & proper alignment without fear or expectation.

 OR 

Labyrinth Walk: Go for a stroll through the garden labyrinth, the complete path will take between 40 minutes.

9:45-10:00 Coffee/Tea

10:00-11:30 Aromatherapy Workshop: Learn the benefits of aromatherapy, essential oil safety and explore the scent of over 15 oils. You will be creating 2 products to take home.

11:30-12:15 Morning Yoga

12:15 – 1:00 Lunch & Mimosas!

1:00-1:45 Intermediate Yoga Workshop: Ready to take it to the next level? If you already have a solid foundation in yoga and are looking to take your practice further & try some intermediate level postures, this workshop is for you! We will be exploring strengthening poses that will set you up for hand balancing as well as diving into more complex variations of those postures.

1:45 – 2:45 Bootcamp Workout: Be ready for a fun, high intensity workout that will be suitable for EVERYONE!

2:45 – 3:30 Break & Snack Time: Freshen up, hydrate & relax and chat.

3:30-4:30 Tea Unveiled:

Do you know the difference between Oolong and Sencha? Do you steep your tea at the correct temperature? What country did tea first originate from?

Delve into the mysterious and fascinating world of tea with Tea Sommelier and owner of the Hamilton-based Monarch Tea Co. Katie Cyr will lead attendees through an interactive tea tasting and discussion while providing an in depth look into the history, culture and appreciation of one of the world’s most popular beverages (second only to water!)

6:15- 7:15 Dinner (includes wine & delicious chocolate truffles for dessert made by Miss Bailey Brown Chocolate)
